He is a twin to 930. 929 is a sound and easy feeding calf with great disposition. He could make a great first year project.

This steer has body, bone, and a good look with excellent hair. He is sired by Cotton Mouth, the high-selling Hereford bull, which sold for $26,500 in Kris Black’s bull sale.

Potential is the word that comes to mind with this steer. He is the maternal brother to the high seller in last year’s sale. This Red Bear son is also a brother to 2007 Reserve Champion Hereford steer in Houston. He’s green, but has the look and genetics to make a good one.

965 is the youngest calf in our sale. He has balance, a great look, and a big top. This guy has a world of potential.

This purebred bull prospect is out of the same popular mating (Nitro x Nike donor cow) as his full sib to 933, offered in this year’s sale. These powerful genetics should consistently stamp a look, quality, and balance in his calves. We will retain ¼ semen interest in this bull.
